As the capital, Tehran,
with 14 million people, is the most populated, and the
largest city in Iran. Tehran is located in the north
center of the country, at the southern foothills of the Alborz.
Tehran, a beautiful
village in the mid 18th century, attracted
the attention of the Qajar king, Agha Mohamad Khan, who
set it as his capital. Since then, Tehran grew on,
sluggishly though, into the present huge city, the
economical, political & cultural center.
The ski resorts include
Dizin, Shemshak and Tochal that attract a lot
professional & non-professional skiers from the regional
countries or overseas.
